A one hour course designed to specifically train staff on the practical use of fire extinguishers. Whilst fire extinguishers are designed to be user friendly their effective use can save a life. Training in a safe scenario based environment is the mose effective way in allowing your staff to learn the skills needed for emergency situations.

Our experienced trainers can hold a number of courses at the same location allowing businesses to train large numbers of staff in a day.

All delegates will be given the opportunity to use a fire extinguisher on a live controlled fire using a variety of extinguishers under expert guidance. A variety of fire types will be demostrated including Class A fires involving solid materials such as wood, paper, fabric. Class B flammable liquid fires involving petrol and oil and electrical associated fires. Fires are simulated using our environmentally friendly fire demonstration equipment.

All delegates should have already recieved basic training in fire procedures which can be found here.

This course is purely 'hands on' training with fire extinguishers and should only be chosen if prior training has been completed as detailed above has been given.
